Some things you may not know about me…
Approximately 25 years ago, I did my first certifications in Educational Kinesiology, a hybrid of Bowen Therapy, Touch for Health, and NLP.
I had amazing tools to create great change in people’s lives, yet I had no idea how to call in clients. 😕
I gave a few friends sessions, and they were blown away and referred their friends, yet my client numbers were pretty inconsistent.
I pondered to myself, “How can I get more clients?” 🤔
Then one morning, as I sat on my parents’ balcony drinking coffee (yep, I was living with my parents at the time), I looked out onto a valley of trees 🍃🌳, listening to birds sing 🦜, and my question was answered.
It was as clear as a summer’s day in my head—
I needed to learn and master Sales & Marketing!!
So I went and purchased the newspaper and looked for beginner jobs in sales and marketing.
I enthusiastically tried to apply for a few, yet they all seemed to want experience, and I had none.
In the corner of the paper, my eyes dropped onto an advert saying:
“No experience needed”
“Full training provided”
And I swear I heard angels sing 🤗🪽
It was a direct sales job selling water filters. I had already been to a few seminars and learned that our tap water sucked as a drinking source, so as I felt into selling water filters, my inner hero ripped open her blouse to reveal a Super Filter Girl hero costume, and off I went into a two-week full-time training on how to sell water filters.
Now, in case you didn’t know, Direct Sales (an extinct industry 🦖🦕) was the hardest form of sales anyone could do. Why?
Because we would go to people’s homes, offering to test their water for chlorine and other nasty chemicals. Then, once we showed the lovely people how many harmful chemicals were in their water and what health issues they caused, we would do our best to sell them a premium water filter package—back then valued at $2,500 upwards.
We needed to create a whole new desire in them to purchase a product they weren’t even thinking of buying!
This proved to be the most incredible skill set that, at the time, I didn’t know would serve me later in life.
You see, our unique courses and programs are an innovation in the world.
And to truly call in souls to serve, we must become masterful at selling our offerings with ease, grace, and embodied skill.
The first few months of selling water filters door-to-door were tough 😓. Dad would often tell me to give up and get a real job, yet something inside me knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be, so I stayed!
My boss saw my devotion and lent me all his CDs on selling. For those first few months, I listened to 2-4 hours of sales courses a day and applied what I learned.
I also used my awesome quantum toolkit to re-code my consciousness for financial success, and guess what?
Within six months, I was making around $2,000 per week—and that was awesome 25 years ago!
Within 1 year I emergerd one of the best in the industry. The best in our industry had a close rate of 30%, where 1 out of 3 houses would buy. The average was 10%, and most people quit within six months.
Combining the art of sales with my quantum reprogramming, I got my close rate to 80% in door-to-door sales.This was unheard of and seemingly impossible—yet it happened!
I truly believe that no matter how gifted we are, mastering sales and marketing, along with doing the inner work to embody abundance within, are the pathways to being in our highest timelines of service and financial freedom.
Apple computers and iPhones would not be in our world if Steve Jobs (a salesman) hadn’t sold the world on the possibility and created desire within humanity for these products. Steve Wozniak was the artist, and Jobs was the one who got the art into the hands of countless people around the world!
I know there are lower-realm selling techniques out there, and they have tainted the true art and beauty of sales.
The truth is, it’s not selling that is the ugly thing, just as it’s not money that is evil. It is the consciousness of humanity that either co-creates with love or not!
The art of selling is beautiful. It’s the codex of creating realities beyond possibility and taking a deep dive into the deepest desires of the souls we serve, connecting them with great precision to what they most desire. 🫶💛
